The problem of data transmission over wireless interface as part of rocket and space technology is considered. The aim is to study the main characteristics of radio signal propagation in the composition of rocket and space technology (namely, in a dense arrangement of hardware and metal structures). The choice of operating modes of transceivers is justified by the availability and limitations imposed by State Radio Frequencies Commission. As a basis for determining the availability of receiver-transmitters as part of a dense arrangement the devices of Wi-fi type are selected and the simulation in a two-dimensional mode is produced, in addition to the conditions of metal structures. The variant of receiver-transmitter design embodiment as part of a block is given. An option scheme incorporating imported single-chip receiver-transmitter is considered.

Key words: data transmission, wireless communication links, effective power, wavelength range, dense layout, distribution of signal, receiver-transmitter, weight reduction, cables absence, rocket and space technology.
