The increasing demand for use of DC motors for various industrial applications in the last few decades has made them one of the most important system drives. Thus, it is important to develop intellectual angular position of engine control system, neural DC engine control in particular, based on a well defined mathematical model, which is a very important tool for this type of drive systems. Nonlinear parameters such as dead zone, saturation and clearance, cause the greatest concern in the management of angular position of DC motor. To reduce the impact of these non-linearities, and to improve the efficiency of the system in the paper a new algorithm for management of angular position of a DC motor using neural network controller is proposed. The aim is to design a neural network controller which will be able to eliminate or reduce the influence of non-linearities in the angular position of DC motor. The article describes the system of angular position of DC motor control built using Simulink tool in MATLAB application package.
