The changes in the electrical resistance of a strontium titanate film prepared by sol-gel method under the influence of pulsed and linearly increasing voltage are considered. The aim of this paper is investigation of changing of capacitor structure electrical resistance based on a strontium titanate film from a highresistance state to a low-resistance state and vice versa. The reversible change in electrical resistance of a strontium titanate film by four orders of magnitude is studied. The electrical resistance of the capacitor structure has varied from several ohms to several tens of kiloohms. On the basis of current-voltage characteristics and under illumination the photovoltaic properties of strontium titanate films are presented.
Key words: strontium titanate, ferroelectric, electrical resistance, current-voltage characteristic, capacitor structure.
