The paper deals with sorption methods for the study of porous materials and nanostructures applied to nanomaterials for various functional purposes. Features of application of nitrogen thermal desorption method and capillary condensation for determination of specific surface area and the analysis of mesopores distribution on the sizes are described. Special attention is paid to the estimation of fractal dimension of inner surface of mesopores on the basis of sorption data. The aim of the work is to study the applying of sorption methods for investigation of porous structure parameters and the analysis of fractal dimension of mesopores in porous materials and structures..
