ANALYSIS OF SMALL DEVIATIONS OF LINEAR ELECTRIC FIELDS AND EFFICIENT MASS-SELECTIVE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

The problems of investigation and formation of linear electric fields with small deviation from quadratic potential distribution are considered. The aim of the work is the formation and study of linear electric fields with small deviation from quadratic potential distribution and the creation of effective mass analyzers. The influence of such small deviations on the analytical characteristics of quadrupole mass spectrometers is numerically modeled. The ways to improve their parameters due to different configurations of electric fields are proposed. Various developed electrode systems of small-sized quadrupole mass analyzers are presented.
