INVESTIGATION OF SMALL-SIZED ТЕА-СО2 LASER GENERATION CHARACTERISTICS

The study reports about investigation results, which are directed to the decrease of radiation pulse duration in small-sized sealed-off ТЕА-СО2 lasers. Minimal duration of laser pulses about a few nanoseconds with energy per pulse 50-150 mJ was achieved by increase of working laser mixtures up to 6 atmospheric and decrease of laser resonator length up to 25 cm. The aim of this work is investigation of main conditions at which laser pulses have durations in nanosecond range.
