The aim of the work is to develop a technique for optimizing the process of heating cold water for the needs of hot water system aimed at improving its economic efficiency. Currently existing design solutions to ensure the efficiency of energy-intensive process of heating large amounts of cold water for industrial and domestic needs are mostly reduced to the use of plate heat exchangers and devices for automatic control of the temperature of hot water obtained. At the same time, almost
no due attention is paid to the possibility of using waste heat in such processes. At the same time, the analysis shows that at the facilities with isolated drainage systems of hot and cold water sewage, in the caseof effective technologies for extracting heat from low-potential heat sources, a tangible economic effect can be achieved. This article discusses one of the possible ways of using low-grade thermal energy wastewater shower pool «Radio wave» of «RSREU», based on the use of heat pump. The technique to optimize the achieved economic effect is offered for the considered technological process.
Key words: hot water supply system, optimization, heat pump, low-potential energy, heat recovery.
