SPACE APPARATUS IMAGE RECOGNITION METHOD BASED ON BRIGHTNESS MODULATION SPECTRUM ANALYSIS BY PRONY’S METHOD

The method of spacecraft (SC) images recognition was evaluated using spectral analysis of luminance modulation signal from Hubble Space Telescope. The aim of the work is to increase the accuracy of spectral estimation of changes in the intensity of multi-frequency light reflections from spacecraft by Prony’s method. The problem to be solved is carried out under the conditions of short time samples of observations. The quality indicators of a two-sided Prony’s method with autoregressive (AR) method are compared. It was confirmed that ΔF values are significantly (from 3 to 18 times) reduced by using Prony's two-sided method for analyzing the spectrum, which smoothly changes its intensity of Y process of light reflections from the spacecraft.
