The paper considers the task of developing and researching a mathematical model of the receiving part of active phased array. The aim of the work is to create a mathematical model for calculating noise and dy namic parameters of active phased array, which are necessary for the design of a through-channel receiver for radio systems. The task of this work is to identify the dependence of noise and dynamic characteristics of active phased array on the shape of amplitude distribution across antenna array. The paper explores the problem of calculating noise factor and gain factor during design phase of active phased array. A mathemat ical model has been developed that can be used both for preliminary calculation of entire receiving channel sensitivity and for comparing the calculated values with the data obtained during experimental studies.
