The problem of detecting intra-frame distortions in Earth observation imagery is addressed. The aim of
this work is to develop an automated technology for identifying these distortions caused by vibrational jitter
of KShMSA sensor operating on «Resurs-P» spacecraft. Detection algorithms based on reference information
and relative displacements of adjacent image rows during data processing within the cataloging system
are proposed. A comparative analysis of the proposed algorithms was performed. The algorithm based
on relative shifts of adjacent rows is shown to be the most efficient. The mechanism for tuning and training
the proposed algorithm using in-situ data is described.
