This paper analyzes the impact of correlated channel matrices on MIMO systems efficiency. The main aim of the study is to examine the relationship between channel matrix correlation and MIMO system ca pacity under multipath interference. The article uses a statistical modeling approach to simulate the correla tion coefficients of channel matrix for analyzing the ergodic capacity of MIMO systems. The analysis shows that an increase in correlation level between signal transmission elements and interference matrix leads to systematic decrease in capacity. Simulation results confirm that spatial correlation which arises in multipath propagation environments significantly degrades transmission performance. This highlights the importance of considering these factors when designing MIMO systems, especially in densely built urban environments and space-constrained areas.
