The aim is to develop the model of studying that takes into account the structure of the discipline and its semantics, presented in terms of concepts and logical dependencies between them. This model is designed to meet the challenges of exploring processes of learning, including planning training sessions. The criterion of efficiency of the educational process based on a forgetting function is formulated, allowing evaluating students’ knowledge. Based on a genetic algorithm, an approach for planning lessons is proposed, aimed at obtaining the extremum of the effectiveness criterion at the time of knowledge check.
