STRUCTURAL AND PARAMETRIC SYNTHESIS OF CARTOGRAPHIC SMALL SPACECRAFT COMPONENTS

The problem of synthesizing the structures of individual components of a small spacecraft is considered, in which the best accuracy characteristics of orthorectified images of the Earth's surface are achieved. The aim is to develop recommendations on the choice of mounting angles of imaging devices with the possibility of stereo acquisition and several star trackers on spacecraft platform. According to the results of a comparative analysis of symmetric and asymmetric options of imaging devices installation, it is shown that in the case of asymmetric option a georeferencing error is 10 % less and spatial resolution of orthorectified images is 23 % higher. Orientation accuracy of each of the axes of the spacecraft as well as its influence on the accuracy of images georeferencing from several star trackers measurements is estimated, as a result of which the dependence of images georeferencing accuracy from mounting angles of star trackers is evaluated.
